Coupon Books as a Gift for Teens

Coupon Book CoverWe have a family tradition around the idea of gifts of service. Before Christmas, we have a family night where we make construction paper bells and write on them a "gift of service" for each family member. Then we hang them on the Christmas tree in our family room and open them on Christmas morning after all the other gift opening is done. It is a fun way to make sure we are giving of ourselves to one another on Christmas.

Another gift of service idea is a coupon book with a gift of time or attention or service on each coupon. The coupons can then be redeemed throughout the year when the recipient needs a car wash, a back rub or some other little thing. To make this a little easier for our visitors, I have prepared a printable Coupon Book for a Teenage Son and a Coupon Book for a Teenage Daughter as a "gift of service" if you have children of these ages. If not, the books will at least give you some ideas about making coupon books of your own.
