As we approach this week's celebration of Thanksgiving in the United States, gratitude seems to be appropriately more on our mind. So even though children have a well deserved reputation for selfishness and self-centeredness, what can parents do to take the initiative and create an environment where children can learn the social art and attitude of gratitude?
