Finding a church for your family to attend is maybe one of the most important decisions a family will make. Associating yourself with a church community influences your selection of family friends, the friends your children will choose to connect with and provides many of the activities with which your family will be involved. And while not every family is looking for a church, many are and it is a big decision worthy of careful consideration.
Our choice of church membership many years ago has had a big influence on our family. It really cannot be overstated in terms of the way we choose to raise our children, the values we pass on to them and how they develop into adults.
When you and your family decide to look for a church (either a new church or choosing one for the first time), know that it is an important decision. Learn how to choose a church that will support your family, help them learn to love God and to serve, and that will be doctrinally sound.
