The costs of family vacations can be a little staggering for the average family. Many of the most popular and attractive vacation spots can be pretty pricey - even admission to the top theme parks can be several hundred dollars a day for a family. But family vacations are just too important to not take.
One of our all time favorite family vacations was a two-week road trip visiting friends, seeing a new part of the country and checking out great historical sites along the way. No really big theme park adventures and no exotic locations, but a lot of fun building relationships and memories!
