We have received the nominations for the Readers' Choice Award for 2012 for the most influential fatherhood organization.  The five finalists are:

These are incredible organizations and they each, in their own way, make a big contribution to fathers in their spheres of influence.  I have summarized the basics about each of these groups, and after you have reviewed the information, come back here and vote below.

Wayne, I appreciate what you are doing. I am quite surprised that the National Center for Fathering (http://fathers.com/) is not listed for consideration in your survey. The center has done tremendous work nationwide, doing both research and publishing content for two decades. Their W.A.T.C.H. Dogs program – encouraging dads to be engaged in their children’s schools is a nationally acclaimed endeavor. I hope you’ll look into NCF and consider expanding your survey items. Thank you!

Great list! Aside from the National Center on Fathering, I’d suggest the National At-Home Dad Network (www.daddyshome.org). We host one of the longest running conventions for fathers, now it’s 17th year, and help fathers who are primary caregivers connect and feel confident in their role.

I agree with Clark. WatchDOGS is the largest and most influential father engagement group.
