Celebrating Thirty Years

On June 29, 1979, I started a lifetime journey with my sweetheart Julie as we were married. Today, we celebrate our thirtieth wedding anniversary as we take a few days away together. She has truly been my partner in every way through this long period of time. We have had five children together and are now experiencing the joy of being grandparents of four. Thus far, our children are doing well, and the four adult children (two married and two yet single) are responsible and contributing to the good of society. And while I have worked hard as a father, my time with them has been much more limited than their time with their mom. She has been a truly remarkable mother, which has contributed so much to my feelings about fatherhood.
