Keeping Track of Fetal Activity—A New Tool

During pregnancy, expectant dads and moms-to-be are often advised to track their child’s physical activity. A new tool is available in that effort. The KickTrak Kick Counter was developed by an obstetrician and offers a convenient way for expectant parents to count their child’s kicks in the belly– one of the indicators of a healthy baby. Starting at 24 weeks, the digital device records how long it takes their baby to make ten movements, once a day when the baby is most active. Your partner's OB/GYN will ask at every visit about baby's activity; now you can give the doc an accurate and precise story.
