Dealing with Crushes in Your Child’s Life

Wednesday September 20, 2006
I remember the first time I became aware of my son having a crush. He was about 12 or 13, and he had a little white board in his room behind the door, where he had written "I Love R.G." who was a girl in his class at school (really a sharp young lady I might add). It led to a fun and memorable discussion with him about girls and hormones and attraction. Fortunately, I wasn't too concerned knowing my son and the young lady and her family. Learn what lots of other dads have learned about crushes, and what you should do if you are concerned.
