MySpace Isn't A Place for Young Kids

I have heard a lot about MySpace recently, particularly as it relates to internet safety for kids who have a MySpace page. About Family Internet Guide Marcy Zitz offers some great advice for parents about why MySpace is so attractive to children and what they can do to keep their kids safe on MySpace and other similar sites.

When I was planning my high school reunion, I joined MySpace to find missing classmates. It really is a wonderful site for keeping in touch with and making new friends, but (like anything else) needs to be used with moderation.

Parents also need to keep computers in family areas, in full view.
